Nixer Remote App running on iPhone

We’ve been working on the Nixer Remote App recently and have enhanced and added new features.

■  Users can now download the Nixer Remote App and use on standard iPhones.
This allows Production staff to access and monitor any of the audio sources and create their own independent Dante output mix. Any mix of iPads and iPhones (to a total of 4 devices) can be used with each WL64-4.

■  Also a great tool for engineering staff to check correct operation.

■  The WL64-4 can connect to iPads and iPhones either wirelessly or via a hard-wired network connection.

■  Any standard web browser can be connected to the WL64-4 via the wireless/control network port to allow simple and quick visual checks of the audio levels.

■  The web page configuration also allows for logging files to be created to capture and share for system diagnositics and trouble shooting.

Did you know we’ve added a “hard-wired” capability for streaming IP Audio to our WL64-4 base unit?

Up to four iPads can be connected independently to a single WL64-4 either wirelessly or now via a hard-wired connector.

Why?

■  Connecting exclusively over wireless internet isn’t always possible
■  Cables often provide a more stable connection than wireless networks
■  Troubleshooting is potentially easier over a hard-wired connection
■  The mix & match connectivity (wired/wireless) to individual iPads gives operators more flexibility
■  We implemented customer feedback into the unit to enhance reliability in mission critical operations

The Nixer Remote app allows Directors and Editorial staff to generate their own individual mix via iPad for local monitoring and also send this mix back onto the Dante network.

RL256 mixed AoIP format monitoring

Are you constantly switching between platforms to monitor a large number of Dante and Ravenna network audio channels?

Did you know that our RL256 is the 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 single unit that monitors up to 256 audio channels – and can handle a 𝗠𝗜𝗫 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗔 sources?

Now through a standard web browser interface, operators and engineers can also visually check 𝗔𝗟𝗟 audio levels of the RL256 from 𝗔𝗡𝗬 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 on a single screen – phone, tablet or PC

This feature is enabled through the NIX00602WiFi Adapter and Control Port option.

With this option the RL unit can also stream to an iPad via the Nixer Remote iPad App. An iPad can be used to monitor the audio sources via the iPad headphones or speakers or to select sources selected to the RL speakers and main output.

The RL265 is ideal for radio master control rooms, outside broadcast applications, multiple studios and live events.

Confidence checking of all your audio channels has never been simpler.
